Matilda café

"Matilda" is the name of a mythological place, located in the Ma'oz Aviv neighborhood in Tel Aviv for many years, which is a song of praise for the Bulgarian-Balkan culinary culture. The cafe-restaurant is named after a real woman, the founder, who immigrated to Israel and brought with her to the country all the Bulgarian secrets she collected in her life as well as the recipes and knowledge she learned from her grandmother's house and her parents' house. All of these stand behind the wonderful borkas, the rich pastries, the authentic stews, the fine concoctions and the other delights in which "Matilda" specializes even today.
