Peacock

Peacock, the first gastro bar in Tel Aviv, was founded in 2008 by night people Nir Gaon and Shimon Meshel at 14 Marmorek Street - walking distance from Habima and the Heichal Hatarbut. An intimate yet lively neighborhood the bar is ideal for opening or closing any evening, with the option of sitting on the street or enjoy live performances. The music is conducted by Maayan Bezeq (the place's manager) and Shimon Meshel (the owner), the line specializes mainly in indie music, jazz to the avant-garde. The audience of Peacock consists of the Tel Aviv audience from the heart of the city and the place is known as a stronghold of the local theater, film, television and music scene.
